Please note, this is an on-site, non-remote role, requiring the candidate's presence at our main dispatch office. As a Dispatcher, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shuttle services, directly impacting our efficiency and the satisfaction of our passengers.

As the primary liaison between our passengers and drivers, the successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of dispatch operations, ensuring timely service and excellent communication. This role demands a high level of responsibility and attention to detail, suitable for a proactive and dedicated professional looking to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of airport shuttle drivers and vehicles, ensuring optimal efficiency and service delivery.
  • Monitor the real-time location and status of all shuttle vehicles and drivers to manage daily operations effectively.
  • Maintain open communication with drivers and passengers via radio, phone, and in-person to address any issues that arise during operations.
  • Take and manage reservations, coordinating timing and logistics to optimize passenger satisfaction and resource utilization.
  • Resolve any operational problems that occur, providing support and guidance to drivers to ensure safety and service standards are maintained.
  • Manage emergency situations by coordinating with drivers, support staff, and emergency service providers to ensure passenger safety.
  • Update and manage dispatch logs and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service, handling inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently to maintain company reputation.
Requirements
  • Experience as a dispatcher or relevant position, preferably in the transportation or customer service sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with drivers and passengers.
