Minimum Required Education: Bachelor''s degree-in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree.
Degree Equivalency:ย 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associateโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree
Minimum Required Work Experience: 4 years-of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience.
Required Technologies:
  • Modern React.js and core principles, including state management and hooks
  • Accessibility and WCAG guidelines
  • Automated testing libraries and principles (Cypress, Argos-CI, Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha, Chai, Karma)
  • Experiencingย leading, mentoring, or driving a product / feature through a full SDLC
Nice To Have:
  • DevOps experience - tools such as Azure, Github Actions, Docker, Gradle and AWS
  • Experience with enterprise software, large datasets, complex queries using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, and performance optimizations

Day to Day:
  • We are seeking a Lead UI Developer to serve as the technical anchor for our DocFinity enterprise content management solution.
  • In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and engineering, taking full ownership of the product lifecycle from initial requirements through deployment.
  • As we transition our interface to React, you will act as a primary architect, balancing the implementation of modern front-end standards with the strategic maintenance of legacy systems.
  • We are looking for someone who can drive UX/UI decisions, mentor team members, and ensure our enterprise software remains intuitive, accessible, and high performing.
Soft Skills:
  • Communication skills to be able to gather requirements from internal experts, and present demos of features to internal stakeholders.
  • Design skills, creativity and software vision to be able to assist with UX design.
  • Leadership to be able to drive a product through the full SDLC.
About The Team:
  • Our development team has 10 people - 7 developers (of which this would be 1), a UX Designer, an SDET, and a Tech Writer.
  • We operate in one-week agile sprints with a Kanban board for work.
  • We maintain and enhance an ECMย product called DocFinity.
  • We make decisions quickly, work at a fairly quick pace,ย adjust to changing priorities on the fly, and communicate frequently using the Google suite of products.
  • While the position is on-site, the team is spread out and communicates virtually on a regular basis.
  • Your manager and 2 other developers, including 1 UI developer, will be onsite in the PA office as well.
