Job description

Position Title: Route Delivery Driver (Non-CDL)
Industry: Wine and Spirits Distribution
Location: Springfield, MO (and surrounding areas)
Privately owned distributor of wine and spirits and is seeking a highly motivated and qualified route driver to deliver products to customer establishments. Depending upon the route, drivers will have an assigned time to report to the warehouse, given route information, and load the product to their assigned vehicle, depending upon customer invoice specifications. The drivers are expected to provide our customers with high caliber service, always maintaining a top-notch degree of professionalism, honesty, and principles. This job will also require the driver to return their work vehicle to the warehouse once their route has been completed.
Job Description/Essential Duties:
  • Unload and deliver products to customers daily, in good condition and timely manner.
  • Provide high level service to the client, maintaining a courteous attitude and service-oriented mindset.
  • Produce invoice for each delivery and ensure completion of all paperwork from the customer.
  • Keep warehouse clean, tidy, and organized.
  • Load van with product for delivery.
  • Always maintain clean and organized vehicle.
  • Work in tandem with sales reps to solve customer challenges.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits:
  • $18/hr. commensurate with experience.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
  • Valid Driver’s License/pass MVR.
  • Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds routinely.

  • Work well in a flexible environment with others in addition to working independently.
  • Work to deadlines.
  • Organized/attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • 1 (plus) year experience preferred.

Shift and Schedule:
  • 1st Shift.
  • Requires flexibility to work overtime, when necessary, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
