New position created - our team is growing! Hourly : Regular part-time (daytime) 52.5 hours every two weeks (one weekend out of two) Who are we ? PAX Habitat is a residence offering 102 apartments for independent and semi-independent seniors in a community housing complex that shares its premises with a daycare center for 70 children. PAX Habitat also includes a monastery undergoing extensive renovation, which will house local community organizations, approximately 20 student apartments, and serve as a gateway to the community. Your tasks: Carry out repair and maintenance work on the apartments and common areas (minor repairs) Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect breakages, leaks or any other problems. Clean and perform various maintenance tasks: carry out the maintenance of the premises according to the established task schedule. Ensure the cleanliness of the building Maintaining the exterior of the building (snow removal, application of salt to exterior entrances, lawn care, etc.) Prepare the rooms for different uses Responsibility for the guard in case of unforeseen events related to maintenance This position is for you if: You have a diploma in building mechanics or building maintenance (or equivalent) - REQUIRED You have 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position You are capable of doing physical work and lifting heavy loads You demonstrate autonomy, judgment, and a sense of responsibility.
