Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily prescription data entry workflow to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
  • Enter and verify prescription, patient, and insurance information in PioneerRx or equivalent pharmacy software.
  • Review incoming orders for completeness, legibility, and compliance.
  • Act as the primary contact for troubleshooting and resolving data entry issues.
  • Train, mentor, and guide new data entry technicians.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, operations, and billing teams to maintain seamless workflow.
  • Monitor productivity and quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, URAC, ACHC, and all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Support internal audits, special projects, and process optimization initiatives.
