Customer Service Representative (CSR)


Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative at Carolina HVAC and Electrical, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include interacting with clients, addressing client inquires, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining office cleanliness and organization, and assisting with basic clerical duties. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support such as answering phones, responding to emails, and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  2. Data Entry: Assist with data entry tasks including updating customer information, maintaining records, and organizing files.
  3. Scheduling: Coordinate office activities and schedules, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and deliveries.
  4. Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office, including common areas and workspaces.
  5. Technician Collaboration: Assist technicians with paperwork completion, including work orders, service reports, and customer invoices.
  6. Various Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the efficient operation of the company.
  7. Customer Database: Maintain the preferred customer database with the most up to date information for the customer. 
  8. Marketing: Various marketing duties include helping design items for marketing, visiting potential customers with other leaders, and other similar task related to building trust based relationships with our customers.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus.
  2. Industry Experience: Prior experience in an office support role is preferred, particularly in a similar industry such as HVAC or electrical services.
  3. Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software applications.
  4. Organizational Skill: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  5. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
