Data Scientist IV – Snowflake Data Engineer

Location: Local to Seattle
Job Type: Contract

Duration: 3 months
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist IV specializing in Snowflake and data pipeline development to join a dynamic remote team based in Washington State. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, managing Snowflake environments, and optimizing data workflows in cloud platforms, particularly AWS. This role requires a problem solver with excellent communication skills familiar with Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Matillion for data integration and transformation.

  • Utilize advanced Snowflake skills to manage data manipulation, performance tuning, and develop complex data structures such as tables and views.

  • Conduct data modeling, analysis, and mapping to support sound data warehousing practices and build effective data models.

  • Optimize performance of data pipelines and troubleshooting existing workflows to ensure efficiency.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.

  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation supporting data processes and architectural decisions.
