Key responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end shipping logistics for camcorder package fulfillment, including outbound shipping, return logistics, and turnaround time.

  • Build inventory forecasting models to anticipate demand and optimize workflows across intake, fulfillment, and post-production.

  • Manage and coach the Customer Care team, handle sensitive customer issues, and ensure smooth media intake and footage handoff.

Job description

Company Description

Wedding Weekender is redefining wedding videography by helping couples capture their wedding weekends in an authentic, affordable way. We rent camcorders for family and friends to film the weekend—then our team organizes the footage and edits it into a wedding video that feels true and unique to each couple's celebrations.

We're a fast-growing, creative start-up building a scalable operations team to support delivery at volume. Since our launch this year, we've been featured in the New York Times, Vogue Weddings, Martha Stewart Weddings, and more. We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Operations Manager to own shipping, inventory, and customer care as we scale—someone who can keep fulfillment moving, catch problems before they become customer issues, and build systems to help us grow.

Role Description

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Arvada, CO for an Operations Manager at Wedding Weekender. You'll be responsible for the operational backbone of the business—from shipping logistics and inventory forecasting to managing the Customer Care team and resolving sensitive customer issues in real time.

You'll work closely with the Founder, and you'll directly manage the Fulfillment and Customer Care teams, contributing both to day-to-day problem-solving and to the broader operational maturity of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Logistics

  • Own end-to-end shipping logistics for camcorder package fulfillment—outbound to couples, return logistics, and turnaround time
  • Manage reverse logistics: tracking returns, assessing equipment condition, and cycling inventory back into rotation quickly
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the fulfillment and footage-intake pipeline

Inventory & Workflow

  • Build inventory forecasting models to anticipate package demand by wedding season, weekend concurrency, and regional shipping patterns
  • Optimize day-to-day workflows across intake, fulfillment, and post-production handoff
  • Maintain and improve operational tracking in Monday.com and admin portal(volume, shipping performance, source attribution)

Customer Care & Media Intake Leadership

  • Manage and coach the Customer Care team on quality, tone, and response time
  • Directly manage the media intake process to ensure footage upload, tracking, and handoff to post-production run smoothly
  • Be the escalation point for sensitive or high-stakes customer issues and resolve them with judgment and empathy
  • Be physically present in Denver to troubleshoot in real time when shipping, intake, or footage issues come up

Operational Support

  • Partner with the Founder on operational planning as the business scales
  • Document processes and build SOPs so the operation runs consistently as the team grows

Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years in operations, supply chain, or logistics management, ideally including direct people management
  • Experience in subscription box, rental, or kit-based logistics strongly preferred—you understand reverse logistics, return-condition tracking, and inventory cycling, not just one-way fulfillment
  • Demonstrated experience building inventory forecasting models—you can translate historical order data and seasonal patterns into demand projections
  • Comfort building or implementing AI-assisted workflows—using tools like Claude, or workflow automation platforms to streamline forecasting, customer care responses, or reporting
  • Customer success or customer care leadership experience
  • Startup or small-team experience—you're comfortable being hands-on and building process from scratch
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Denver, CO; able to work in person
  • Experience with tools like Monday.com, Booqable, or similar ops/inventory platforms is a plus

Compensation

  • Competitive salary based on experience (estimated range: $75,000-90,000 full-time, Denver-based candidates)
  • Competitive paid time off and company holidays in accordance with company policy
  • Opportunity to shape operations at a fast-growing, nationally-recognized wedding brand
  • Opportunity for role expansion as the company grows
