  • Architect and enforce zero-trust security principles, micro-segmentation strategies, and least-privilege access models
  • Implement and maintain cloud security posture management across Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, AWS, and Okta
  • Manage PKI infrastructure, certificate lifecycles, and security standards
  • Enforce identity and access management (IAM), privileged access controls, and secrets management practices

Infrastructure & Systems Engineering

  • Develop and maintain backup, recovery, redundancy, and business continuity strategies
  • Participate in the design and implementation of information and operational support systems

Collaboration & Strategic Technology Initiatives
  • Partner with colleagues across the university to identify and resolve technical challenges
  • Communicate cybersecurity risks and solutions to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise
  • Collaborate with vendors and IT partners to support enterprise technology initiatives
  • Contribute to risk assessments aligned with frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and SOC 2
  • Support the university's growing AI initiatives by helping establish and maintain secure AI practices

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
    • Master's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and securing enterprise technology environments
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and infrastructure security
  • Experience with Windows-based systems installation, administration, and maintenance
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving technologies and security threats

Preferred Experience
  • Cloud security experience with Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, AWS, and/or Okta
