Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience leading daily operations in a Charge RN role in a Trauma Level II or similar OR setting
  • Strong experience with general surgery and robotics cases
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity surgical environment with trauma, emergent, urgent, and add-on cases
  • Comfortable floating within the OR specialty as needed
  • Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
Responsibilities
  • Serve as Charge RN for operating room operations and support daily workflow
  • Coordinate with anesthesia, surgeons, nursing staff, and leadership to ensure efficient surgical care
  • Prioritize cases based on acuity, including trauma, emergent, urgent, and add-on procedures
  • Circulate and scrub a variety of procedures across specialties such as general surgery, bariatrics, trauma, GYN, urology, orthopedics, neuro, podiatry, and robotics
  • Support a safe, organized, and efficient operating room environment
  • Maintain strong communication, teamwork, and clinical excellence in a fast-paced surgical setting
  • Provide flexible coverage, including call shifts and holiday/weekend coverage as scheduled
  • Float within the OR specialty and to a nearby campus as needed
