Pharmacy Vaccine Nurse (RN/LPN)

Colmar, PA

Phoebe Ministries is seeking a dedicated Per Diem Pharmacy Vaccine Nurse (RN/LPN) to administer vaccines at our communities and affiliated Personal Care Community homes. If you are passionate about preventive healthcare, enjoy working independently, and are committed to providing exceptional patient care, we'd love to hear from you!


Responsibilities
  • Administer vaccinations, including Influenza, RSV, Pneumonia, COVID-19, and other vaccines as requested.
  • Ensure all vaccinations are administered in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Monitor participants during and after vaccination, recognizing and responding appropriately to adverse reactions.
  • Receive, transport, and maintain vaccines according to required Cold Chain storage and handling guidelines.
  • Verify participant identity, obtain consent, answer questions, and refer participants to the appropriate healthcare professional when needed.
  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining participant privacy and confidentiality.
  • Follow all infection prevention and control practices between participants.
  • Set up, maintain, and break down vaccination clinics and workstations.
  • Return unused vaccines and completed documentation to the Pharmacy following each clinic.


Qualifications
  • Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to safe vaccination practices and quality patient care.
