Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurses to ensure high-quality patient care within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a commitment to maintaining patient safety, adhering to healthcare regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct regular assessments of patient needs and implement appropriate care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with NCQA standards, HIPAA regulations, and other relevant healthcare policies.
  • Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff on best practices in patient care.
  • Oversee the administration of medications and treatments, ensuring adherence to protocols.
  • Manage documentation of patient records accurately using EMR/EHR systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to policy development.
  • Address any issues related to patient care or staff performance promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Proven experience in critical care, acute care, or long-term care settings.
  • Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks EMR systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in specialties such as ophthalmology, geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, or behavioral health is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and CPT coding.
  • Proficient in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Experience with case management, discharge planning, and patient assessment is highly desirable.
