Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Current and valid state RN license at time of submission
  • Emergency Department experience in a Level I Trauma Center required
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
  • Strong skills in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV initiation and maintenance, and central line care/management
  • Experience with Cerner charting preferred
  • Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Two supervisor references required
  • COVID-19 vaccine required; flu vaccine required with allowable exemptions as noted
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
  • Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
  • Support trauma-focused care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center environment
  • Monitor patients closely, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Perform and maintain IV access, central line care, and other critical emergency department procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
  • Work within established patient ratios while contributing to a strong team environment
