Job description

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Associate Video Producer to deliver end-to-end video projects that support firm and line-of-business storytelling. This role owns the full production lifecycle—researching, pitching and developing narratives, planning and running shoots, capturing interviews and b-roll, and editing polished, distribution-ready videos.

As a Multimedia Producer, Photographer, and Editor Senior Associate within Corporate Communications you will combine your strong creative instincts with operational rigor, and can partner confidently with stakeholders to deliver high-quality work on deadline in a regulated environment. In addition you will manage video projects from intake through final delivery, including creative brief development, scripting, production, editing, andversioning. You will also shoot and direct interviews and b-roll; operate camera, lighting, and audio; run small-footprint productions independently or with minimal crew.

Job responsibilities

  • Pitch, ideate, and develop timely story concepts with strong news sense—spotting what will resonate and knowing what makes a compelling video, then translating ideas into clear treatments, scripts, and production-ready plans.

  • Research & story development: Conduct background research, interview subject-matter experts, and translate complex topics into clear, audience-appropriate stories.

  • Create outlines/scripts, shot lists, interview questions, schedules, and run-of-show documents; coordinate logistics (locations, releases, talent needs, equipment).

  • Edit short- and long-form content; manage audio cleanup/mixing, color correction, graphics templates, music selection (as permitted), captions, and exports for multiple channels.

  • Work with Communications/Marketing, business leaders, and review partners (e.g., Legal/Risk/Compliance) to ensure accuracy, approvals, and brand alignment.

  • Manage timelines, feedback cycles, and deliverables; keep projects organized, documented, and traceable.

  • Maintain consistent look/feel and editorial standards across series and campaigns; apply accessibility best practices (captions, readability, audio clarity).

  • Refine production workflows, templates, and toolkits to improve efficiency and scalability across the team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience producing, shooting, and editing video content end-to-end; portfolio/reel required.

  • Solid writing skillswith the ability to draft clear scripts, interview questions, and concise story outlines for business audiences.

  • Strong research and interviewing skills; ability to structure narratives for complex topics.

  • Hands‑on proficiency with camera, lighting, and audio for interview-based productions.

  • Advanced video editing capability and strong editorial judgment (pacing, clarity, tone, polish).

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on tight timelines.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders and experts.

  • High attention to detail and ability to operate within brand and review/approval processes.

  • Editing: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent), shared project workflows (Airtable), media management; Audio:Adobe Audition (or equivalent), dialogue cleanup and mixing

  • Production:Mirrorless/cinema cameras, lav/boom audio, interview lighting, teleprompter

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Motion graphics and templated animation experience (e.g., After Effects). Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator (familiar; as needed for design support)

  • Experience from Media/News outlet

  • Experience producing content for multiple channels (internal platforms, web, events, social short-form).
