Current Contract Opportunity (On-Demand Services)


We are currently seeking an independent contractor with a van-type vehicle, including minivans, with a minimum of 4 feet of interior cargo height clearance to support on-demand courier services during the hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Contractors accepting services during this time window are eligible for a minimum guaranteed compensation of $150 per day, with the potential to earn more based on contracted services completed.

About Accurate Courier Services


For over 20 years, Accurate Courier Services has partnered with hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, and medical offices to transport critical medical items safely and on time. Our services support time-sensitive healthcare operations and require a high standard of professionalism and reliability.


Independent Contractor Relationship


Independent contractors operate their own businesses and are responsible for their own taxes, expenses, and insurance. Contractors are compensated per contracted services completed. No employee benefits are provided.


Scope of Contracted Services


Service Activities


  • Transport pharmaceuticals, medical instruments, supplies, mail, documents, and medical specimens (room temperature, refrigerated, and frozen).
  • Log pick-ups and drop-offs using a secure mobile application to support chain-of-custody requirements.


Resources Provided


  • Branded swag for identification at client facilities.
  • Insulated coolers and specialty transport containers.
  • Certain delivery equipment required by healthcare clients.
  • Access to courier certifications required for contracted services.


Contractor Equipment and Obligations


  • Provide and maintain a reliable vehicle and compatible smartphone.
  • Maintain current driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
  • Report and pay all applicable taxes and business expenses, including fuel and vehicle maintenance.
  • Comply with HIPAA and all confidentiality and data-protection requirements.


Contract Performance Standards


  • Complete services within agreed-upon pick-up and delivery windows.
  • Communicate delays, incidents, or service issues through the designated communication channel.
  • Perform services in a professional and courteous manner consistent with healthcare client expectations.
  • Perform services free from impairment, in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.


Operating Environment


Services are available at various times, including nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather. Work may involve driving, walking, standing, and lifting items up to 50 lbs.


Contractor Qualifications


  • Minimum age 21 with at least 3 years of personal-vehicle driving experience.
  • Familiarity with Kansas City roadways and traffic patterns.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record and ability to pass background and drug screenings as required by healthcare clients.
  • Reliable, registered vehicle and smartphone compatible with required applications.
  • Medical, laboratory, or courier experience is beneficial but not required.
