• Conduct detailed mental health evaluations, which include preliminary interviews, assessments, and crafting comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to ensure client engagement and effectiveness.
• Monitor client progress throughout treatment, adjusting intervention strategies as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Document all interactions and maintain accurate records using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Provide ongoing support to clients and their families, assisting them in navigating mental health challenges and promoting recovery-oriented practices.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client care strategies and share resources that enhance treatment effectiveness.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Divine Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Your role will involve understanding and addressing unique client backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care that respects individual differences and needs.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• A pass score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective interpersonal relations.
• Empathetic and attentive nature, with the ability to build rapport with clients.

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor, preferably in a telehealth setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to streamline documentation and client management.
• Experience working with addiction disorders and an understanding of their impact on mental health.
• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical guidelines.
• In-depth understanding of the implications of psychotropic medications as they relate to mental health treatments.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
