Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a great opportunity for a physician with special interest in scoliosis and spinal deformities to join a busy orthopedic practice caring for children and adolescents. Cook Children's is committed to securing a specialist whose professional, social, and economic interests would lend themselves to a long-term, cultural fit within the institution, the medical staff, and the community. The successful candidate will have completed accredited Orthopaedic training in pediatric orthopedic surgery and be ABOS board certified/board eligible in Orthopaedic surgery. Must obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical license before commencement of employment.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date)
  • Non-institutional DEA
  • Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency in pediatric orthopaedic surgery
  • Board certified/board eligible in orthopaedic surgery (ABOS)
