Job description

Artisan Direct is seeking an independent contractor to place and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Atlanta, GA area in the community Riverside Parc.
The contractor will be responsible for installing signs between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM. The same signs must be picked up between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM. The work may be performed at any time within those windows, as long as all signs are placed by Saturday at 10:00 AM and removed by Monday at 8:00 AM.
The signs are lightweight corrugated plastic, and are installed on wooden stakes. Artisan Direct provides the signs and stakes and provides replacement inventory as needed.
Job Duties:
  • Use Artisan Direct's mobile application to report installation and pickup of signs at specific locations
  • Install signs every weekend between Friday 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM
  • Pickup the same signs between Sunday 6 PM and Monday 8 AM
  • Store signs and extra stakes safely during the week
  • Submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory after completing pick up- using our website
Pay Information:
  • Starting compensation is $82.50 per weekend
  • Pay is issued via direct deposit every two weeks
  • $20.00 Signing bonus
  • $100.00 bonus after 4 weeks of completed work

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
  • 18+ years old
  • Reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30+ signs
  • A smartphone (Android or iPhone), roughly four years old or newer, capable of running our mobile app
  • Ability to lift and place signs and work outdoors
  • Ability to hammer stakes 6-8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only
  • Dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend

Independent Contractor Notice
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are not employees of Artisan Direct and are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes and insurance. Contractors determine their own driving order, provide their own vehicle and mobile device, and complete the work within the placement and pickup windows provided. No benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees are offered. Contractors may accept or decline routes but must complete any route they commit to.
Additional Information
The starting pay is for the current work available in this location. As more work comes available our contractor support team will offer additional work to increase earnings. This role is a great fit for delivery and rideshare drivers, couriers, retirees, veterans, or anyone looking for flexible supplemental income. The work is straightforward, independent, and recurring each weekend.
