What is a weekend content labelling?

A Weekend Content Labelling job involves reviewing, categorizing, and tagging digital content such as images, videos, or text, typically for machine learning or content moderation purposes. The role is usually performed during weekends and may require following specific guidelines to accurately label data. This work helps improve the performance of AI systems by providing high-quality, human-annotated data. Weekend content labellers may work remotely or onsite, depending on the employer. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are key skills for this position.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a weekend content labelling specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Weekend Content Labelling Specialist, you need strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and familiarity with content moderation or data annotation, often supported by a relevant diploma or degree. Experience with content management systems, labelling platforms, and possibly certifications in data annotation tools like Labelbox or AWS SageMaker Ground Truth are often required. Excellent communication, time management, and the ability to work independently are critical soft skills for this role. These skills ensure accurate and consistent data labelling, supporting high-quality machine learning outcomes and operational efficiency, especially during weekend hours.

Job description

About Still Austin Whiskey Co
Still Austin Whiskey Co. is the first true grain-to-glass distillery in Austin since Prohibition and one of the fastest-growing craft whiskey brands in the country. Founded in 2014 by father-and-son team Cleveland and Chris Seals, we've become nationally recognized for our award-winning bourbon and rye - distilled in-house from Texas-grown grains and shaped by the intensity of our Texas climate.
Led by Master Blender Nancy Fraley and Master Distiller John Schrepel, we pioneered the use of slow water reduction in bourbon, bringing new depth, maturity, and character to our whiskeys. Our bottles are as distinctive as our spirits, featuring custom label art by world-renowned artist Marc Burckhardt - a tribute to Austin's creativity and the craft behind every drop.
Now, we're expanding our footprint with an ambitious new hospitality campus in South Austin - including a full-service restaurant, an atrium welcome center, a lounge and café, and a versatile event space designed to bring people together. It's an exciting moment to join Still Austin as we build a world-class guest experience.
About the Role
The Social Media Manager and Content Creator for the Hospitality Division is responsible for creating, scheduling, and optimizing high quality content that showcases the Tasting Room, Still Austin Quarter, live events, food and beverage offerings, and premium guest experiences. This role blends creativity with strategy. It is hands on, camera forward, onsite, and deeply embedded in daily hospitality operations. Success in this role looks like strong growth across platforms, highly engaging content, and a consistent digital presence that matches the level of experience guests receive onsite.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the organic and paid social presence for the Hospitality Division across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and additional platforms.
  • Create on trend, high impact video and photo content that drives awareness and engagement.
  • Maintain an active, responsive online presence through community management and timely interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Hospitality, Events, and Marketing teams to tell compelling stories about the Tasting Room and still Austin Quarter.
  • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Capture content during nights, weekends, and peak activations when guest energy is highest.
  • Own the social content strategy, calendar, and publishing for the Hospitality Division.
  • Create professional quality photo and video content showcasing cocktails, menu items, events, live music, staff, and guest experiences.
  • Lead community management including DMs, comments, inquiries, and review responses.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns to support events, reservations, and brand building.
  • Attend and capture onsite programming including evenings, weekends, and special events.
  • Collaborate with design and creative partners to align content with broader brand direction.
  • Track and report on weekly performance metrics and deliver insights to improve results.
  • Build relationships with guests, performers, hospitality partners, and local Austin creators.
  • Develop social specific promotions, contests, and engagement tactics that drive traffic and visibility.
  • Monitor digital trends and proactively pitch ideas that keep Still Austin content fresh and culturally relevant.
  • Manage paid social budgets and campaign execution for hospitality initiatives.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

  • Experience managing content calendars, reporting on analytics, and optimizing content for performance.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and executing paid social campaigns.
  • Ability to work onsite in Austin, Texas, including nights and weekends.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.

  • Experience capturing content in fast-paced, guest-facing settings (bars, tasting rooms, events, concerts, nightlife).
  • Knowledge of TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or platform-specific growth strategies.
  • Strong sense of brand voice, storytelling, and hospitality-driven content creation.
  • Graphic design or motion graphics skills.
  • Familiarity with whiskey, cocktails, spirits education, or Austin culture.
