Responsibilities:
The Consultant will support Barrow Wise's Rail project and perform the following duties:
  • Perform assessments of new business class offering and train specifications
  • Engage focus groups in qualitative and quantitative research
  • Develop cost estimates, implementation plans, business process improvement reports, and other study reports
  • Develop surveys and research guidelines for the analysis of alternatives study
  • Design future state Rail and engineering solutions
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend vendors offering new train cars and subsystems
  • Develop change and implementation plans
  • Create roadmaps and customer journey maps
  • Develop new operational models to increase efficiency and the customer experience
  • Present data to our stakeholders
  • Work remotely and travel to California at least 4 times a year

An Ideal Candidate has the following:
  • US Citizenship
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a business field (e.g., Business Management, Accounting, Finance)
  • Minimum of ten years of demonstrated expertise in strategic consulting, operating models, governance, business processes, and technology transformation within the Rail/Transportation Industry.
