About this Role

DIGCO, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a dependable Laborer to support underground gas construction activities. This role assists field crews with excavation support, material handling, site preparation, and general labor activities associated with gas utility construction projects.

The Laborer plays a key role in maintaining safe and efficient jobsite operations while supporting crews working in active construction and excavation environments.

What You'll Do
  • Support construction site activities including trenching, excavation support, and material handling
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of traffic control devices, trench boxes, and jobsite equipment
  • Perform general labor activities including use of shovels, tampers, jackhammers, and hand tools
  • Maintain clean and organized jobsites, equipment, and vehicles
  • Support pipe crews and field personnel during gas distribution construction activities
  • Follow all company and client safety policies and procedures
  • Work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
  • Ability to work safely in active construction and excavation environments
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding work
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Construction, pipeline, or gas utility experience preferred
  • Bilingual / Spanish-speaking abilities are a plus
