WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for amazing people to join our team. We have work that will sustain over the winter and longer. We are not looking for people on a contract or short-term basis. However, we are not opposed if someone is only looking for something short term, go ahead and apply. This is a full-time position with BENEFITS! You should be organized, on-time, have a solid work ethic, ready to work, and not afraid to get your hands dirty. No job is beneath you.


OVERVIEW

The Skilled Laborer works closely with Site Superintendents and the General Superintendents to support day-to-day project operations. This role is dynamic and hands-on, requiring flexibility to perform a variety of tasks that may change daily. The skilled laborer will be responsible for traveling to multiple job sites on a weekly-or sometimes daily-basis to assist with physical tasks as needed. A key part of this role is maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in collaboration with site leadership and subcontractors. We are looking for people that are skilled in multiple facets of skilled labor to include but not limited to: Painting, Finishing, Tiling, Interior Demolition, Carpentry, Cleaning, etc. This person does not have to have all these skills but will set you above others. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and maintain construction sites, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness for daily operations
  • Transport and handle materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner
  • Carry out manual labor tasks under minimal supervision, following instructions from supervisors and adapting to evolving site needs
  • Install and assemble temporary structures and job site signage, including scaffolding, ladders, and enclosures
  • Operate heavy and light construction equipment safely such as forklifts, skid steers, lulls, and rental machinery
  • Operate basic construction equipment including pumps, generators, shop vacs, power tools, etc.
  • Assist with light demolition and general site teardown work
  • Experience in basic carpentry, painting, caulking, electrical work, and plumbing
  • Accurately track and document daily assignments, contributing to clear communication and project progress reporting
  • Strong ability to be adaptable and multitask in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Maintain and clean shop tools and equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Physically able to climb ladders, bend, crouch, and access confined spaces as needed
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Willing and available to work off-hours, including nights and weekends, to meet project and client needs
