Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:


  • ย Install photovoltaic (PV) systems in accordance with codes and standards using drawings, schematics and instructions
  • ย Identify electrical, environmental and safety hazards associated with the installations and identify methods and locations for laying out, orienting, and mounting modules or arrays to ensure efficient installation, electrical configuration, or system maintenance
  • ย Assist with site preparation and clean up, complete installation reports and paperwork
  • ย Maintain a clean and organized work site
  • ย Maintain inventory of equipment for each installation
  • ย Complete full inventory for each installation job
  • ย Pre-assemble job components in warehouse
  • ย Attend training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety as directed
  • ย Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • ย Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • ย Typically requires 1-3 years of experience in all aspects of PV installation
  • ย Experience with the safe use of manual and power tools, consistently following all safety rules and requirements at all times
  • ย Ability to work in extreme environments, e.g. hot sun, crawl spaces, ladders, roofs, etc.
  • ย Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance
  • ย Strong interest in renewable energy and supporting our company's high-quality standards
  • ย Conduit bending skills
  • ย Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and work on feet for extended periods of time
  • ย Pass a pre-employment criminal background and drug screen
  • ย Clean driving record and a valid state driver's license, reliable transportation
  • ย Attention to detail
  • ย Comfort working at heights and on rooftops with proper safety apparatus
  • ย Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively in a team environment
  • ย OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certificate
  • ย Authorized to work in the United States.
