Position Description
As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for supporting concrete operations by assisting with preparation, placement, finishing, and cleanup activities on construction projects. This position works under the direction of supervisors and skilled concrete personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Demonstrate behavior that is representative of the company's core values.
  • Comply with all safety policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Comply with all company policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Assist with site preparation for concrete work, including layout, grading, and material staging.
  • Assist with forming, pouring, placing, spreading, and finishing concrete as directed.
  • Support the setup and removal of concrete forms, reinforcing materials, and barriers.
  • Assist with operating and maintaining basic concrete tools and equipment under supervision.
  • Perform general labor tasks including shoveling, raking, lifting, and cleanup of work areas.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
  • Follow direction from foremen, supervisors, and skilled concrete workers.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or quality concerns.

Position Requirements
Education and/or Work Experience:
  • Some prior experience in concrete or construction work is required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn concrete methods, tools, and safety practices.

Physical Requirements:
  • Work may involve standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or reaching for extended periods.
  • Work may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling tools, materials, or equipment weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
  • Work may involve working indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Work may require the ability to safely access and navigate active construction jobsites.
  • Work may involve exposure to dust, noise, wet or uneven surfaces, and other conditions common to concrete construction.
