Work in an exciting industry growing your current or new skills machining. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train someone without any experience who has the determination and willingness to learn. Job ResponsibilitiesUse metrology to validate Quality on all machined componentsBe able to run machines efficiently based on daily standard workCheck parts through company systems accurately with high attention to detailUtilize machine monitoring softwareProperly set material stick outManually move the turret and be able to explain options to do so and what to look for to avoid crashesDocument abnormalities in value driverSustain a high performance worksite using 5s principlesRemove and verify inserts from caps systemMaking offsets to build parts on target with minimal variationResponsible to calculate parts per bar for a short bar, and be able to set up parts counter properlyRead prints with little to no helpCheck and maintain coolant concentration Set up coolant lines to maximize tool lifeKeep up on machine maintenance and know how to reset maintenance alarmsReplace machines high pressure unit filtersComply with safe work practices; understanding work injury procedures, workers comp, and safety standardsJob Qualifications - PreferredBasic computer skillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, part prints, process documentation, and work center guidelinesUnderstand coordinate planesKnow how to change a wide variety of insertsKnowledge of different types of stock and insertsUnderstanding of axis and direction in regard to making offsets.
