Job description

North Pond, a fine dining establishment in Lincoln Park with 28 years of service, is currently seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to join our professional team.

This is a full-time position (Thursday–Sunday) offering a three-day weekend. The role involves preparing a wide range of items, including breads, pastries, cakes, custards, and savory dishes. We are looking for a candidate with fine-tuned hand-eye coordination for intricate displays; previous fine dining experience is strongly recommended.

At North Pond, we invest in our employees' growth. You will work closely with our Chefs on the creative process, ordering, and food costing while utilizing seasonal produce from local farmers. Additionally, you will participate in our gardening and composting program, tending to our rooftop herbs and vegetables.
