What is a weekend companion?

Their responsibilities may include engaging in conversation, accompanying clients on outings, helping with light household tasks, and ensuring the client's well-being. Weekend Companions do not generally provide medical care but focus on improving the quality of life and reducing loneliness for their clients. This role may be offered through home care agencies or arranged privately by families.
