### Locums | Hematology/Oncology | Clinic + Call | Eureka, CA (CA License)### Why This Role* Full-time hematology/oncology coverage with potential September start via temporary privileges* Established outpatient cancer program connected to the hospital and infusion center* Light phone-only call with no overnight or weekend return-to-hospital requirements* Epic EMR with strong multidisciplinary support### Assignment Details* Start Date: October 1, 2026 (September possible with temporary privileges for clean files)* End Date: Ongoing* Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call* Setting: Outpatient Clinic with Inpatient Support* Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM / 1:00 PM–5:00 PM* Call: Weeknight beeper and shared 24-hour weekend beeper call (approximately 1 week in every 3)* EMR: Epic### Requirements* Active California medical license* Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 3–5 years of residency)* BLS* DEA* Two years of recent inpatient case logs required for privileging* Clean history required for temporary privileges### Clinical Details* Full-time hematology/oncology practice with 12–15 patients per day* Outpatient clinic attached to the chemotherapy treatment center and hospital* Call is phone-only after clinic hours; no onsite callback expected during nights or weekends* Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited program managing approximately 500 analytic cancer cases annually* Support from 10 RNs, 4 MAs, 3 APPs, and dedicated administrative staff* Temporary privileges may allow a September start for providers with a clean credentialing history
