About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Rheumatology MD in California!

We are seeking a dedicated Physician - Rheumatologist for a 240-day assignment in California, commencing Sep 7, 2026. This role primarily involves Monday through Friday outpatient clinic coverage from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with an optional every 3rd week call schedule. The Physician will manage an established panel of patients, focusing on follow-up care, joint aspirations, injections, and comprehensive rheumatology services.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Outpatient clinic coverage
  • Manage an established patient panel, primarily follow-up cases
  • Perform joint aspirations and injections
  • Address vasculitis
  • Conduct Arthrocentesis
  • Perform Tissue biopsy
  • Evaluate Microscopic specimens
