Job description

The Louisville Thoroughbred Society, a privately owned club, seeks a personable, motivated, and career-oriented professional for the Concierge position. The Concierge is responsible for welcoming and checking in Members and Guests, seating reservations, and ensuring all arrivals receive a seamless, high-quality experience. Responsibilities include greeting and seating Members and Guests, distributing menus, answering and routing phone calls, managing reservations, enforcing the Guest and Dress Code Policies, and assisting with light administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a polished and professional demeanor, and a passion for exceptional Member service.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet Members and Guests warmly, ensuring a personalized and welcoming arrival experience.
  • Confirm and seat reservations, present menus, and answer general questions about the club and its offerings.
  • Enforce Guest Policy and Dress Code Policy with professionalism and discretion.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill Member needs promptly and accurately.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, schedule reservations, and relay messages to the appropriate manager.
  • Maintain an organized, presentable front desk and lobby area.
  • Assist with light administrative work as needed, including recordkeeping and event coordination.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to have difficuilt conversations and desclation capabilities
  • Willingness to work at peak hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
