Job description


Mechanical Service Engineer to service clients on the West Coast including Canada and Mexico. Extensive travel is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Install and set up newly purchased machine(s) at customer location

· Repair machines / Service visits

· Training during installations

· Training on site or at the office

· Provide in-house technical support (strong hands-on repair and troubleshooting experience required)

· 80% to 100% travel required including but not limited to the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Most travel is between 1 to 5 days, but candidate must be open to travel according to clients’ needs.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

· Experience and knowledge with CNC cutting tools, hydraulics, pneumatics; mechanical and electrical skills (ability to read electrical blueprints)

· Must possess great oral and written communication skills

· Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel)

· Must have clean and valid driver's license

· Must have a valid U.S. passport

· Willingness and availability to travel as required

OTHER:

· Position location: West Coast, preferably San Francisco Bay Area

· Training in our client’s complete product line will be offered
