Weekend Cnc Machine Setup Jobs in High Point, NC

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer to join our team. This position requires the operation and programming of CNC machinery, including 7-axis machines, Swiss, Star, and Citizen models. The role offers flexibility in shift hours and involves working with various metals, ensuring precision and quality in all operations.

• Operate and program CNC machinery, including 7-axis machines, Swiss, Star, and Citizen models.
• Select, layout, and install appropriate tooling and adjust tool offsets.
• Troubleshoot and optimize machine setups and programs.
• Perform inspections using quality gauges such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Work with metals such as steel, brass, and aluminum.

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in CNC setup, operation, and ideally programming.
• Proficiency in using CAM software, SPC tools, and data collection systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours per shift).
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. throughout a shift.

• Experience with Swiss-style lathes is preferred.
• Familiarity with g&m codes, gd&t, and blueprint reading.

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $70720.00/yr.
