Assignment Details
  • Full-time schedules
  • 16-week initial contract (13-week renewals)
  • 8 or 12-hour shifts available, depending on the facility
  • Rotating weekends
  • Opportunities across North Carolina's leading psychiatric and behavioral health facilities

What You'll Do
  • Deliver compassionate, patient?centered nursing care in an inpatient behavioral health and detox setting
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate physical, psychiatric, and withdrawal?related needs
  • Safely administer and monitor medications, including detox protocols
  • Monitor vital signs, physical status, and psychological changes
  • Conduct nurse triage assessments and respond appropriately to emergent situations
  • Support patients in developing coping strategies and stabilization plans
  • Observe, document, and communicate changes in patient condition
  • Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation and medication records
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary treatment teams to drive patient outcomes

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active, unrestricted North Carolina RN license
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • 1+ year of recent inpatient care experience
  • Ability to pass required compliance screenings (background, drug screen, competencies)
