Description
Astronics AES is seeking a Repair Station Support in Redmond, WA. This position will work weekend shift, Fri - Sun 5:30 am - 6:00 pm. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40!
JOB SUMMARY
The Repair Station Support role will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. They will enter information into databases or software programs and verify accuracy of data.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Customer Service Support:
  • Interacts with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of pre- sales or post-sales service functions.
  • Receives customer requests and prepares documents/trouble tickets related to processing returns (RMA), servicing and exchanges.
  • Updates databases with status of returned materials issues and accounts for returns inventory.
  • Records and reports the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure service information accessible by sorting and filing documents/forms.
  • May schedule field service repair calls. Handles requests for additional company materials.
  • Maintains records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes and product pricing, and resolves return credit problems.

Data Entry Support:
  • Enters data from a source document into a computer system.
  • Verifies entries for accuracy and completeness.
  • May convert data from one electronic system to another.
  • Performs audits of own work or that of others to ensure conformance with established procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position).

EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • As a US Department of Defense Contractor, this position may involve access to items subject to U.S. export-control laws. Employment is contingent upon the employee's authorization to access such items under applicable law.   • An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background screening and drug test which includes screening for the use of cannabis.

Salary is $20.12 - $27.22 per hour. Mid-point is $23.67.
