Office of Admissions and Marketing

Title: Admissions and Marketing Coordinator 

Reports to: Pastor and School Principal Position Summary

The Admissions & Marketing Coordinator advances the mission of the school by leading student 
recruitment, enrollment management, fundraising, school marketing and community engagement. This 
position works closely with the pastor, principal, parish
staff, and parent volunteers to increase enrollment, fundraising, strengthen school visibility, and 
build meaningful relationships with prospective and current families.



Essential Responsibilities

Admissions & Recruitment
 Manage all aspects of the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment.
 Coordinate school tours with prospective family visits; serve as liaison with parent and student ambassadors during school tours.
 Maintain accurate enrollment records and admissions data.
 Develop and implement annual recruitment strategies for PK8 enrollment.
 Serve as the primary contact for prospective families.




Marketing & Communications
 Create and manage marketing campaigns across digital, print, parish, and community channels.
 Maintain the school's website, social media presence, and promotional materials.
 Highlight student achievements, faith formation activities, and school events.
 Develop partnerships with parish ministries and local community organizations.
 Coordinate and support a Parent Ambassador Program to ensure a visible school presence at 
   weekend Masses, providing prospective families with information, personal connections, and 
   opportunities to schedule campus tours.
 Collaborate with parent ambassadors, parish leadership, and clergy to establish and strengthen 
   relationships with local Catholic parishes that do not operate schools, promoting the school as a 
   preferred Catholic education option for parish families.
 Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with early childhood centers, preschools, and 
   childcare programs to create a sustainable enrollment pipeline for Kindergarten and primary grades.
 Organize outreach events, school presentations, and family engagement opportunities at partner 
   parishes and early childhood centers to increase awareness of the school's mission and programs.
 Track and evaluate the effectiveness of parish and early childhood outreach efforts through 
   inquiries, tours, applications, and enrollment data.















Community Events
Coordinate and promote the school's participation in key advancement and community-building 
   events, including the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston's Steps for Students, the Annual Gala, and 
   the Parish Bazaar.
Recruit and engage students, families, faculty, parishioners, alumni, sponsors, and volunteers to 
   support participation and fundraising efforts.
Collaborate with school leadership and event committees to develop promotion, registration, 
   sponsorship, donor cultivation, and fundraising strategies.
Serve as a liaison between the school, parish, and event organizers; manage event communications 
   and marketing; coordinate volunteer support, student involvement, and school promotional 
   activities; and track participation, attendance, sponsorships, and fundraising outcomes.
Foster strong school-parish relationships by increasing the school's visibility and presence at 
   parish events while encouraging active family engagement in the life and mission of the parish and 
   school community.

 Serve as a joyful ambassador for Catholic education, communicating that a Catholic school 
   education is a gift that nurtures the spiritual, academic, and personal growth of each child.
 Promote and share authentic testimonials and success stories from parish and school families 
   that highlight the impact of faith-filled Catholic education and God's blessings in the lives of 
   students and families.
 Collaborate with parish and school leadership to foster and strengthen a culture of prayer 
   throughout the parish and school community, ensuring that faith remains central to all enrollment, 
   marketing, and community engagement efforts.
 Encourage prospective and current families to experience the spiritual life of the parish and 
   school through participation in prayer, liturgical celebrations, and community events.
 Support the consistent and intentional use of parish and school communication platforms and 
   applications to reinforce Catholic identity, share inspiring faith-centered content, and strengthen 
   engagement across the entire parish-school community.
 Ensure that all admissions, recruitment, fundraising, marketing, and communication initiatives 
   reflect the mission, values, and evangelizing purpose of the school and parish.














Qualifications
 Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing, communications, education, business, or a related field.
 Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
 Experience in admissions, marketing, fundraising, or Catholic education preferred.
 Proficiency with social media, website management, databases, and Microsoft Office/Google 



Workspace
 Practicing Catholic preferred, with a commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
 Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
