With state-of-the-art facilities, advanced Cirrus aircraft, and the latest technology, we deliver world-class training and services while ensuring each client experience is seamless, refined, and personalized. Our mission is to develop not just skilled pilots, but aviators who embrace aviation as a lifestyle, supported by the comfort, service, and exclusivity they deserve.
About the Role
Vectored Approach is expanding into private jet charter operations under FAA Part 135 and seeking an experienced Chief Pilot to lead this new division. This role is critical for ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, maintaining operational excellence, and upholding the highest standards of safety and service. The Chief Pilot will manage all flight operations, oversee pilot training and competency, and serve as the primary liaison with the FAA for operational matters.

    • Develop and implement initial and recurrent training programs for charter pilots.
    • Conduct competency checks, line checks, and proficiency evaluations as required by FAA and company policy.
  • Operational Leadership
    • Exercise operational control in coordination with the Director of Operations.
    • Assign pilot duties and monitor scheduling to ensure compliance with duty and rest requirements.
    • Maintain high standards of safety and efficiency in all flight operations.
  • FAA Liaison & Validation
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for FAA inspectors regarding flight operations.
    • Prepare for and participate in FAA validation tests, proving runs, and inspections.
    • Ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports and documentation.
  • Customer Experience
    • Uphold Vectored Approach's commitment to luxury and professionalism in charter services.
    • Ensure pilots deliver exceptional customer service and maintain aircraft presentation standards.

Qualifications (FAA Part 135 Chief Pilot Requirements)
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate ratings for at least one aircraft used in operations.
  • Cirrus Vision Jet (SF50) type rating.
  • Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within the past 6 years as Pilot-in-Command under Part 121 or Part 135 operations.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA Part 135 operational requirements and safety standards.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in flight operations.
  • No FAA violations, accidents, or incidents.
  • Availability for irregular schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Experience
