Caritas Diagnostic and Psychological Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position will focus on providing therapeutic support to individuals at our Detox Center, ensuring that each client receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering emotional well-being and will engage clients through evidence-based practices across diverse modalities.

About the Organization

Caritas Diagnostic and Psychological Services is renowned for delivering exceptional mental health services characterized by a client-centered approach. Our emphasis on individualized care allows us to address a wide array of mental health issues, relationship dynamics, and personal growth objectives. We pride ourselves on creating a safe and confidential environment where individuals can explore their mental health journeys, leading to lasting change and therapeutic breakthroughs.

Work Environment

In this role, you will work remotely within a supportive and collaborative virtual environment. Caritas fosters a culture of open communication and teamwork, which is essential in our mission to provide effective therapeutic interventions. You will enjoy flexibility in managing your schedule, allowing you to accommodate client sessions, including evenings and weekends, to optimize client engagement and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments for new clients to identify their presenting issues, personal histories, and specific treatment goals.
  • Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and narrative therapy tailored to the client's needs.
  • Craft and regularly update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that therapeutic approaches remain relevant and impactful as clients progress.
  • Monitor client progress through ongoing evaluations and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to meet evolving needs.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards while ensuring confidentiality in client interactions.
  • Actively engage in professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay current with the latest best practices in mental health therapy.
  • Develop a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients, encouraging transparency and collaboration throughout the counseling process.
  • Provide practical guidance and support to help clients navigate complex life challenges successfully.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is pivotal in supporting clients primarily dealing with detoxification and mental health challenges. Our Detox Center caters to a diverse population, including individuals facing substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and various life crisis situations. The LCSW will utilize their expertise to help clients achieve sustained recovery and improved emotional health, guiding them through the initial stages of their healing journey.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
  • An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience, ideally in private practice or addiction-related settings.
  • Excellent clinical skills, including proficient assessment, meticulous treatment planning, and effective intervention execution.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport to cultivate a supportive therapeutic relationship with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a remote environment and adapting therapeutic practices to virtual platforms.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders and treatment methodologies is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address multifaceted client needs.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, complemented by performance bonuses. Caritas offers a competitive benefits package, including comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), retirement plans with employer contributions, and flexible working arrangements to promote work-life balance. Further, we provide support for professional development, including reimbursement for conferences and workshops to foster your growth as a practitioner.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Caritas, we are committed to fostering the professional growth of our clinicians. In addition to ongoing training and development, our LCSW will have opportunities to take on leadership roles, develop specialty practices within mental health, and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other professionals to enhance client outcomes.
