Position Overview

Caritas Diagnostic and Psychological Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This full-time remote role allows you to leverage your clinical skills to provide exceptional care to a diverse client base. As an LCSW, you will play a critical role in helping individuals and families overcome mental health challenges and achieve their therapy goals while adhering to the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' individual backgrounds, symptoms, and treatment objectives, ensuring that each client receives personalized care.
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities, tailoring interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques to best support client needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to co-create personalized treatment plans, continuously monitoring and adjusting these plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all ethical guidelines and legal standards—essential components of a trusted therapeutic relationship.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest trends and practices in mental health care.
  • Build and nurture therapeutic alliances with clients, fostering trust and a supportive environment that promotes healing and personal growth.
  • Offer practical strategies and support to help clients effectively navigate various life challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Our clients often seek guidance and support during pivotal moments in their lives, and your expertise will be pivotal in empowering them to achieve positive change and emotional resilience.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current active licensure in New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong foundational clinical skills with proven experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, showcasing empathy and professionalism in all client interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in private practice.
  • Demonstrated experience with diverse therapeutic modalities and a comprehensive understanding of mental health issues.
Compensation and Benefits
