Job description

NCCCO Crane Operator

Pay: $26-33hr.

Shift: 1st Shift

Qualifications:

  • MUST have CDL-A and NCCCO
  • Minimum 2 years of direct crane operating experience from 75-150 ton
  • NCCCO Cert for Large Hydraulic Crane (prefered)
  • NCCCO Cert for Small Hydraulic Crane (prefered)
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and in various locations
  • Knowledge of rigging various pieces of equipment ranging in size, shape and weight

Job Description:

  • Operate cranes that are rated 75-ton to 150-ton with many combinations of boom length up to 478'
  • Responsible for driving the crane to the job site and operating the mobile crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads
  • Required to unload crane accessories, equipment, and materials from trailers or support vehicles including setting-up and dismantling of the crane per ANSI and OSHA standards
  • Must be NCCCO certified and also carry a CDL-A license; required to perform pre and post-trip inspections along with daily/monthly inspections including performing regular maintenance
  • Must be able to read and interpret load charts to determine the safe operating capacity
  • Follow appropriate safety procedures and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours
  • Subject o possible exposure to extreme year round outdoor environmental conditions
  • May be subject to working weekends and holidays
