INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance staff to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain property and equipment. The Maintenance Technician Supervisor ensures daily operational requirements are met to maintain optimal efficiency and exceed customer expectations. Assign duties, inspect work, investigate complaints regarding maintenance and equipment, and take corrective action. May purchase maintenance supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees, and recommend dismissals. They are responsible for the daily upkeep of the property buildings and common areas.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Maintenance Supervisor is experienced in electrical, hydraulic, and other systems. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods. Working knowledge of tools, standard appliances, and devices.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Responsible for the daily upkeep of the property, buildings, and common areas
  • Performs electrical, heating, and plumbing repairs, including Basic electrical ability, changing outlets, fixtures, and breakers. Basic HVAC knowledge of boilers and forced air furnaces. Basic plumbing, such as changing out faucets, re-piping, replacing toilets, replacing sinks, and unclogging drains
  • Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards
  • Investigate complaints about maintenance services and equipment and take corrective action.
  • Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies and work procedures and to demonstrate the use and maintenance of equipment
  • Performs maintenance duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage
  • Examines resort property to determine the need for repairs, replacement, or maintenance attention and makes recommendations to management
  • Perform daily cleaning of pools, and pool decks, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and removing debris.
  • Test and balance water chemistry daily, including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and other required parameters to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate logs of chemical readings, adjustments, and maintenance activities.Inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, chemical feeders, and circulation systems.
  • Issues supplies and equipment to workers
  • Ensure the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and always guest-ready.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Provides regular and reliable attendance
  • A valid driver's license may be required (dependent on the property)

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience

WHAT IT TAKES (PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS)
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, such as a toolbox. Occasionally, the employee will lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, such as piping and pool valves. The employee will sometimes push/pull items such as tables, scaffolds, and air compressors. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and at times, you may be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We require each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset.
