CAMPS COUNSELOR

Columbia Association's Summer Camp program operates three 8-week camps in Howard County. We are seeking Summer Camp Counselors.
Responsibilities include assisting in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and weekly lesson plans meeting the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of children. Other duties include assisting with cleaning and maintaining a healthy, safe environment, and promoting positivity, interacting with students, group supervision, field trip accompaniment, open communication with families, children, and staff; and other duties as assigned. Must be at least 16 years old.
The position is for the Summer of 2026 that begins in June through August 2026
Open positions include morning and afternoon shifts: 6:45am - 9:15am, 8:30am-12:30pm, 12:00pm-4:00pm, and 3:30pm - 6pm and will end in August 2026. There will be required and mandatory trainings which may occur on the weekend.
Positions are part-time that offers great benefits, including free CA membership, 401K contributions, and discounts on our CA programs and classes.
The pay rate for this position is $16.00/per hour. CA offers a positive, fun work environment and a generous benefits package. Part-time benefits include a free Fit & Play membership, Wellness benefits w/Perks and some paid leave.
