JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Brandywine, located just outside of Philadelphia, in Media, Pa., is seeking a Youth Camp counselors for the Brandywine Athletics multi-sport youth camps. This opening is part-time seasonal. The youth camp counselors will lead the Penn State Brandywine Athletics Youth Camp programs during the weeks of June 15, June 22, June 29, & July 13th, and a 1-day camp on August 5th. Counselors must be able to commit to all camp dates.

Job DutiesThe Youth Camp Director will manage all operations for the program, including but not limited to:
  • Promoting the camp
  • Follow all University policies regarding youth programming
  • Create camp itinerary and effectively implement the camp
  • Selecting, training, and supervising camp counselors
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of experience working youth camps.
  • May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
