Job description

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Family Practice - Pediatric Practice in Northeast Texas Hiring Physician for Weekend Call
Large Busy Pediatric practice in Northeast Texas hiring physician to help with call coverage for weekends which includes light nursery and hospitalist coverage.
Easy drive from the Dallas-Fort Metroplex, Shreveport, Little Rock and Texarkana areas.
Level II NICU extremely low volume. maybe 2 critical newborns a mo. avg. 20 transfers a year
Attends approx. 1k deliveries per year
Avg. rounds: 1.5 patients a day
Schedule: Friday Monday (preferably Friday morning to Monday morning)
EMR software implemented (must be computer savvy)
Physician MUST be comfortable with inpatient and NICU procedures, including the following: Lumbar puncture, Peripheral IV placement, Circumcision, Endotracheal intubation (including of premature infants) & Umbilical line placement.
