Job description

Lake Hope Dining Lodge & Cabins in McArthur, OH is seeking experienced Cabin Cleaners for our 67 cabin property. The Cabin Cleaner is responsible for ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests staying at Lake Hope. This position plays a key role in maintaining the property's high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction by thoroughly cleaning cabins, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize guest cabins including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
  • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities
  • Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and clean windows and surfaces
  • Remove trash and recyclables; ensure cabins are refreshed for new arrivals
  • Inspect cabins for maintenance issues and report any damages or necessary repairs
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and linens from storage areas
  • Ensure outdoor entry areas and porches are swept and tidy
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with guests and fellow team members

Qualifications:
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but willing to train hardworking, dedicated candidates
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Reliable transportation and dependability
  • Comfortable working in a physically active role (bending, lifting, walking, etc.)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:
