Job description

You keep the heart of the kitchen moving. You don’t mind getting a little wet, you work with purpose, and you know that clean tools make great food possible. If you take pride in being the backbone of a busy kitchen.

The Role

As our Dishwasher/Utility team member, you’ll support kitchen operations by keeping dishware, utensils, equipment, and work areas spotless and ready for service. Your speed, organization, and reliability help the entire culinary team shine.

Compensation:

$18 Hourly


Responsibilities:

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils

  • Operate dish machines and follow proper sanitation procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, kitchen floors, and equipment

  • Empty trash and transport waste to designated areas

  • Assist with basic kitchen and cleaning tasks as needed

  • Follow safety, food handling, and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to tolerate temperature changes from hot to cold and cold to hot.

  • Must be able to tolerate noise and vibration and a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, working on scaffolding and high places.

  • Must be able to tolerate atmospheric conditions, such as fumes, orders, dust, mists, gasses and/or poor ventilation.

  • Sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally.

  • Frequently use hands for keyboard and arms to reach.

  • Heavy work – Occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50lbs of force.

  • Light work - Frequently lift and move up to 10lbs.

  • May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. occasionally.

  • Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. frequently
