Position Summary / Objective

This full-time position supports Pyrotecnico's warehouse and show operations, including equipment management, show preparation, and general facility maintenance. The individual in this role ensures equipment readiness, maintains accurate inventory, and contributes to the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse and shows.

Role Responsibilities

The following duties represent the primary responsibilities of the role. This list is not exhaustive. The individual in this position will perform additional tasks as assigned, adhere to all provisions of the Employee Manual, and participate in company initiatives and projects.

Equipment and Inventory Management

  • Accurately load and unload trucks for shows in a safe and timely manner.
  • Manage warehouse inventory and equipment using the inventory management system.
  • Inspect, test, maintain, repair, and label all equipment/gear regularly.
  • Maintain logs of completed work in the inventory management system.
  • Coordinate with the Equipment Inventory Manager for equipment needs.

Show Preparation and Support

  • Pull and prep shows for delivery and setup.
  • Check in and out shows, communicating shortages or damaged/missing gear to Managers.
  • Maintain industry-specific electronics and ensure they are in proper working order.

Warehouse and Grounds Maintenance

  • Maintain warehouse and grounds in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
  • Maintain and clean trucks.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and power tools.
  • Complete and submit required paperwork according to company policies.

Work Environment

Warehouse-based with occasional office work.

Physical Demands

The individual in this role must frequently walk, bend, stoop, stand, and climb throughout the warehouse. At times, the employee may remain stationary for desk or administrative tasks. The role requires the ability to push or pull up to 100 lbs occasionally and lift or carry up to 50 lbs frequently. The employee must safely operate machinery such as forklifts and standard hand and power tools and must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position following a standard workday schedule. The employee may occasionally be required to work evenings or weekends during high-volume periods. All breaks, meal periods, and any overtime will be provided in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal labor laws.

Travel

This position requires up to 15% travel. Travel may include both local and out-of-area trips and may occasionally require overnight stays.

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass an ATF background check.
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and facility maintenance.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
  • Basic operation of hand and power tools; forklift experience preferred (training/certification provided).
  • Ability to work independently after training.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
