Job Summary:

As a Breakfast Attendant you will prepare breakfast bar for hotel guests while greeting and servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with brand and/or hotel and sustainability standards. Your goal is to provide Level5 Hospitality and service for each and every guest.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours
  • Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary
  • Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage
  • Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
  • Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
  • Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment
  • Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes, or trays
  • Fill beverage and ice dispensers
  • Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers
  • Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment
  • Performs other related duties as required

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Level5 High Touch service
  • Flexibility with shifts and scheduling
  • Must be available weekends and/or holidays
  • Must have transportation to and from work
  • Must have stellar attendance and punctuality

Education and Experience:

  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • Experience working in food service is preferred
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team member

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
  • Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
