Job description

GA Foods - Clossman Catering is seeking to hire a Route Delivery Driver for our Hamiltion, Ohio location.

Responsibilities 

  • Safe delivery of food items and supplies to customer homes/sites in a timely and accurate manner
  • Vehicle upkeep and cleanliness
  • Maintain food safety and handling procedures with compliance to temperature requirements
  • Report any deficiencies or problems to supervisor promptly
  • Maintain driver scorecard and other required recordkeeping
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain service records
  • Check vehicle fluid levels and perform general routine inspection of vehicle to ensure all is in working order
  • Assist with packing and/or storing of food items, components and/or supplies as required
  • Regular attendance required to meet employer's attendance policy to ensure customer deliveries can be accomplished as scheduled
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Experience 

  • Valid Driver License (No DUI in last 5 yrs., 0-4 Current Pts.)
  • Good Communication and Customer Service Skills
  • General Office Equipment and Computer Experience
  • GPS and Tablet Technologies
  • Min. 3 years prior route delivery/distribution exp. preferred
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain active DOT Card

Physical Demands

Employment for this position is contingent upon the successful completion of a background screening through Lastly. Because this role serves a sensitive population, candidates must also complete fingerprinting and pass both FBI and BCI background checks in accordance with State of Ohio requirements.
