Job description

The Arizona Fall League seeks bullpen catchers to support teams during workouts and games.
Responsibilities
  • Catch bullpens and side sessions
  • Manage technology equipment
  • Provide daily updates to staff and league office

Qualifications & Skills
  • Professional and/or collegiate playing experience
  • Ability to catch bullpens of high-level pitchers
  • Proficiency with computers (Windows, Mac)
  • Understanding of baseball technology: Synergy, Hawkeye, Trackman, Rapsodo, etc.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Operational accuracy and attention to detail
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time as well as bending, reaching, and throwing
  • Visual acuity to distinguish pitches
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoor

Timing and Compensation
  • Position begins in late September and runs through mid-November
  • Competitive Hourly Rate
  • Hires are responsible for securing housing and transportation
