Job description

As a Bartender, you'll make our customer's experience memorable whether they're celebrating a life milestone or craving the best pizza in town (maybe both). You'll roll up your sleeves and help out wherever you can, whether the machines are down, or drinks need a refill. We're all working toward one goal: making sure our customers can't wait to come back. To be a great bartender at Lou's, you have to love the rush, work through the downtime, and stay calm when things go wrong.
Here's what you can expect on a typical day as a Bartender at Lou Malnati's:
  • Start with side work. What needs to be done? You'll do that to make sure your shift runs smoothly.
  • Serving customers and having fun while you're at it, whether it's taking orders, cashing out checks, or whatever else they need.
  • Mixing and serving alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, responsibly, to customers following standard recipes
  • Request identification from guests and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
  • Taking on new duties and doing whatever is needed. You'll learn by doing.
  • Flexible hours that work with your life and growth opportunities for people who work hard to help the whole team succeed.

  • Ability to stand approximately 90% of the workday and freely access all areas of the locations
  • Be able to lift/move up to 50lbs.
  • Endure in various physical activities like reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing, and moving about the facility
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Must have at least 1 year experience as a bartender and server
  • Must be able to work with minimum amount of supervision under varying conditions
  • Must be TIPS or BASSET certified based on village or city requirements
